Cottage by the side of Pratt's Mill
The cottage can be seen to the right in the picture below. The large barn to the left is no longer there. Both are now very well maintained and look very traditional "Sussex residences".
Copies from book about the history of Pratt's Mill
Babs Helen and I went to the library in Crowborough specifically to research the mill. We also took some photos of the mill as it is at the present. The picture of the trade calendar for 1904 (above) shows that the mill must have been fairly prosperous at that time. For more information about the Pratt family see the Pratt Family History page
